With no partners, no financial support, no congregation and no advertising money, Chad & Lacy moved to College Station, TX to launch Lighthouse Bible Church.  By faith, they took out a $30,000 personal loan and paid one year of rent for the old Grapevine Restaurant.  After a month of renovations, they held the first service on September 10, 2006 with 23 people in attendance.  As the church began to grow, the building was becoming too small and the church began to look for a new location.  

 

Through a $10,000 financial seed and trusting in the faithfulness of God, the Lighthouse was miraculously able to purchase a 1.2 million dollar building in December 2007 and given $100,000.  Over the years, God has used this building to touch the lives of many all over the Brazos Valley.  The Lighthouse has grown to be a vibrant, diverse group of believers who are hungry for the things of God and has also become known as a church that preaches the Word, allows the Holy Spirit to move and miraculous healings abound.  It is a place where miracles happen!
